This will wrap up the 1970s decade. Here's what's different.
-The top dollar values are now $750 in Round 1, $1,000 in Round 2 and $2,000 after that. -Star Bonus is retired.
Bill McDee is returning for his third time. Who'd like to challenge him?

*Big Wheels starts up* Jim Thornton: Look at these luxurious prizes! Fabulous merchandise, just waiting to be won today on Wheel of Fortune! This contemporary bedroom set! A fascinating trip to Italy! And an exciting brand new Chevy Cruze! Total retail value: over $113,000! And now, here's your host: Kevin Kolsen! Me: Hello! Welcome! Thank you, Jim! We're all ready to step back into 1979 as we play Wheel of Fortune from the era. Let me introduce someone special from that era: Susan Stafford! Give her a round of applause, please... *cheers and applause as Susan walks through the curtain to the puzzle board* Let's meet our three players, starting directly to my left behind the red lectern. Bill McDee, it's a pleasure to have you back. This is your third day here and you've already taken us for $10,625 in merchandising. *cheers and applause* If you win again today, you retire as an undefeated three-time champion. How does that make you feel?

OLD! LOL. Whenever I hear the word "retire" I feel old, even though I'm only 50 and a half, and have another 16 and a half years to go before I'm eligible to retire.
But it also makes me feel gratified. Wheel of Fortune is a splendid game and I've had a great deal of fun to be sure!

Well, in game show speak it's a lot better to use that than replace.
*laughter*
It's been a pleasure to have you on the show, Bill and we're thrilled that you're having a great time. Next to you is the first of your two opponents. We'll now hear from Matt Riggenberg.

Well, I'm from Queens, New York, and I'm a huge Mets, Jets, Knicks and Islanders fan...oh, and I happen to love game shows! I appreciate you playing in my own Seasons show based off Family Feud, and I'm so glad that I could return the favor by playing on your Wheel of Fortune show today. Looking forward to win lots of cash and go shopping, LOL

It's a pleasure Bill. Thank you for taking to time to play with us here as well. Everybody, take a look at our Wheel of Fortune. *spins the wheel* Seven hundred and fifty dollars is the new top dollar value in Round 1. You still don't want to hit that black space, Bankrupt. If you do you lose your cash but not your merchandise because once you buy a prize, it's yours to keep. Here's our first puzzle. *puzzle reveal chimes* We have a Landmark as the category and just before the show we drew numbers to see who would start. And Bill M., it's going to be you. Good luck!
