After guest hosting the daytime version, I've decided to be the host of the Friday night special edition of "On A Roll" for this season only.
The rules are the same... except the contestant must win both rounds in order to play The Big 6 and Lucky 7 bonus rounds. This time, the top prize for winning the Lucky 7 bonus round is $1 million! Unlike the daytime version, there are no returning champions. And after the second commercial break, we'll have musical performances (including one final performance at the end of this special presentation)
While we're waiting for this Friday's premiere, I'm looking for two contestants to play "On A Roll". Please let me know if you want to join in and be on standby.

David B., you're allowed to participate. Jonathan, you're on standby unless someone loses or gets three strikes. James... I have to get confirmation from the mods and administrator since you're still the challenger in the daytime version.

Good luck to you, James. Before you get to the puzzle, you must solve the Name Game mini-puzzle. Answer it correctly, and you'll be in control of the dice to solve at least a clue and then solve the solution. Whoever wins the best 2 out of 3 rounds will be the winner for tonight and play two bonus rounds for a shot at winning over $1.25 million. [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Right now, let's take a look at the Name Game mini-puzzle. [BEEP-BEEP-BEEP]The first word contains 7 letters. Here comes this question... Who gets on a roll -- when he talks sports?Wally will now randomly select the three numbers by revealing the letters. Here it comes right now... [DING]You have 24 hours to PM your buzz-code between 1 and 100.

[BUZZER]Coopers is incorrect. David... you get to answer the mini-puzzle free of charge. Before you take a guess, Wally will randomize three more numbers for you right now. [DING]Do you have the answer, Dave...?

[OVERBID HORN]Time's up. David have missed the 24 hour deadline. Since he had passed earlier, no strike one penalty. And since both players are stumped, we cannot reveal the final letter. Let's take a look at that answer. [DING]It was COWHERD. Colin Cowherd... sports radio talk show personality. Let's go on to our next Name Game mini-puzzle. [BEEP-BEEP-BEEP]Our next word contains 7 letters. Here's this next question... Who got on a roll -- when his debut album was released in 2011?Here are the three revealed letters... [DING]You have 24 hours to PM your buzz-code.

SHEERAN

Post by tmann3x on Jun 13, 2017 23:19:29 GMT -5
Recording artist Ed SHEERAN is correct. [DING-DING-DING, APPLAUSE]David... please come on over to the dice table with Nikki and myself. Please take a look at the board and see what Brie has in store for ya... [BEEP-BEEP-BEEP]These three clues lead to a person, place, or thing. You roll the dice to uncover as many of those letters as you can -- based on the numbers and sum that come up. The letters that are blocked by question marks stay blocked until you correctly solve a clue. Be careful... because if you roll a double, you'll lose your turn and James will have a free chance at calling one bonus letter and control of the dice. Nikki is gonna give you the blue dice. Whenever you're ready, roll the dice. [DAVID ROLLS DICE]You've rolled a 6 and a 5... or a combined total of 11. Which number or numbers do you want in either row?
|
|
|
Post by gameboy2000 on Jun 14, 2017 5:35:13 GMT -5
6 in row 1, 5 in row 2.

[DING]We have a C in the top row and an A in the middle.. Using either row can you solve a clue?

No, I can't.

OK... You now have 3 rolls left. Stay away from rolling a double. Let 'em roll. [DAVID ROLLS]You've rolled a 4 and a 6... or a total of 10.
