I'm back! It's time once again to continue the NBC run of Wheel of Fortune: Seasons! Here's what's different for 1976: -The top dollar values are now $500 in Round 1, $1,000 in Round 2 and $1,500 after that. -Contestants no longer choose their prize showcases for shopping. Each are now tied to a specific round. -The minimum for solving a puzzle is now $200. Since it's been quite some time, I'll need our champion Michael Koontz to check in. I also need two other players. Who's got game?

*Big Wheels starts up* Jim Thornton: Just look at this studio, filled with beautiful and imaginative gifts, which can be purchased today on Wheel of Fortune! Total retail value of all these prizes: more than $99,000! Now, let's meet the host of Wheel of Fortune: Kevin Kolsen! Me: Hello, all! Welcome! This is Wheel of Fortune and about to walk right next to me is our hostess, Susan Stafford! Let's give her a hand! *cheers and applause as Susan walks on stage* Susan: Hi, thank you! Hello, Kevin. Me: Hello, Susan. Susan: Did you have a great trip? Me: Let me tell you, I needed that vacation like a shark needed chum. *laughter* Me: But we're back and we're ready to play some Wheel of Fortune like you did back in '76. Susan: It was a great year, Kevin. Me: I'm sure it was. Let's see how great it will be to our three contestants. To my immediate left, we have Frank Santori. Says here you're from Holbrook, Massachusetts. What's it like and how close is that to Boston?

Living near Boston is pretty good. City is lovely. Lots of fun things to do. And in my hometown, there are lots of friends for me to visit.

I agree, the city atmosphere really draws you. I can say that since I'm not too far from New York. Next in the yellow spot is Matt Riggenberg from Council Bluffs. What's your area like?

Ah, so that's not too far from the state line. Never knew that. Finally on the end is our returning champion. Michael Koontz is here, having won two games and $10,525 in cash and prizes.
*applause*
Anything planned with your winnings yet?

Spoken like a true champion. Hope that works well for you. Here's our Wheel of Fortune: *spins the wheel* $500 is the top dollar value for Round 1. Be careful not to hit Bankrupt because if you do you lose your cash but not your merchandise because once you buy a prize, it's yours to keep. Here's our first puzzle... *puzzle reveal chimes* The category is Phrase and just before the show we drew numbers to see who would start the game. Frank, it's gonna be you. Good luck!
