He's going to buy! (audience cheers loudly, I run over and give him the keys and I "make it rain" with the $1,870) Oh, it's raining now. I expect a full-blown storm, Steven. Congratulations.
(I walk back to my lectern) We take the $11 off your score....
Matt: $20 Steven: $39 Sam: $49
And you've given Sam a $10 lead, but you've picked up $65,000 in cash and a Cascada! Hooray Cascada! And Sam's happy, too. Back to the questions.

[FAME GAME]Fame Game time. The Camaro is still up, as is the $10 Money Card. We're adding a $15 to it. Sam, you could use either one of those. Matt, you definitely could use one of those. Looking for a famous person. I was born February 26, 1932 in Kingsland, Arkansas, and died September 12, 2003 in Nashville, Tennessee. I was one of seven children, and started working in cotton fields at age five, singing along with my family while working. The family farm was flooded on at least two occasions, which later inspired me to write the song "Five Feet High and Rising". My family's economic and personal struggles during the Great Depression inspired much of my music, especially those about other people facing similar difficulties. When I enlisted in the United States Air Force, I was not permitted to use initials as a first name, so I gave myself a first name, which later became part of my stage name. After basic training at Lackland Air Force Base and technical training at Brooks Air Force Base, both in San Antonio, Texas, I was assigned to the 12th Radio Squadron Mobile of the U.S. Air Force Security Service at Landsberg, Germany as a Morse Code operator intercepting Soviet Army transmissions. I was the first radio operator to pick up the news of the death of Joseph Stalin. In 1954, my first wife and I moved to Memphis, Tennessee, where I sold appliances while studying to be a radio announcer. At night I played with guitarist Luther Perkins and bassist Marshall Grant. Perkins and Grant were known as the Tennessee Two. I eventually worked up the courage to visit the Sun Records studio, hoping to get a recording contract. My gospel music was not well received, and I was allegedly told to "go home and sin, then come back with a song I can sell". I was a member of the legendary Million Dollar Quartet. (he stops)Stop at ten bucks! (fanfare)(cheers and applause) (camera flashes between Steven and the $10) Matt: $20 Steven: $64 Sam: $49
And Steven now has a $15 lead over the champion. And $15 is how much it will cost to get a chance at a hundred-grand. CashCard round is coming up! We could break the bank! (main theme to commercial)(at Graceland Wedding Chapel, Burton weds two female Elvis impersonators, audience cheers and laughs) (fade to commercial)
(fade in, main theme closes, cheers and applause)Greg: Welcome back. So far, we've given away over $92,000 in cash and cars. Let me just update you on where everyone is. Matt: $20 Steven: $64 Sam: $49
Sam is at $49. He has a Chevrolet Cruze Hatchback. Steven is at $64, and he has a Buick Cascada convertible and $26,870 in cash. Matt.... has $20, but he's happy for these two. Matt, there's always the Fame Game board, you might get the Camaro. Let's get back to the questions. 1. For what anniversary would gifts made of paper be appropriate? 4. Which famous explorer's frozen body was found in a 1999 expedition to Mt. Everest? 5. Please give me the exact next line to this Johnny Cash hit. The whirlwind is in the thorn tree. It's hard for thee to kick against the pricks. Till Armageddon, no Shalam, no Shalom. [CASHCARD]Greg: It's time for CashCard, and this is a big one. But first, I'd like to point out that we've been getting messages on Twitter and Facebook and e-mails from viewers like you that saw our last episode. You all said the same thing: "Random Cash is too high!" And we looked over the tape, and you're right. So, starting next week, when we return to California, we're going to be lowering the Random Cash maximum to $25. Just to make everything fair. (audience cheers) So, this will be the last chance to make a killing. Steven, you have a $25 lead over Sam. The CashCard is worth.... (I pull out the check) One hundred thousand dollars! (audience cheers) And believe it or not, tonight, on $ale of the Century, on NBC, and rerun tomorrow or Monday on USA Network, we have a prize that is worth more, more, than SEVENTY-SIX THOUSAND dollars! [FAME GAME]Time for the last Fame Game, and Sam, you need it. You need the $25, or at least the $15. Otherwise, it's going to be a long climb. Looking for a famous thing. We are a company formed on February 1, 1969 and rendered defunct by 1993. Our founders were Irwin Molasky, Merv Adelson, and Lee Rich. We initially started producing made-for-TV movies for the ABC Movie of the Week, until Mr. Rich bought the script to an adaptation of Earl Hamner Jr.'s novel The Homecoming and subsequently sold the rights to CBS. The film was a smash success and allowed us to create our first hit. In 1984-85, three of the top 10 television shows in the United States were produced by us, with two of those featuring lead characters with the same last name. In 1985, we announced our intention to buy a 15% share in the then-troubled company Warner Communications. We later expanded into first-run syndication and then purchased the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer lot from Ted Turner in 1986. For a time, we also took possession of the Rankin/Bass animation house, along with the post-1973 library of that company. That now belongs to Warner Bros., as do we. Some of our notable films include such titles as Who Is Killing the Great Chefs of Europe?, Bert Rigby, You're a Fool, and An Officer and a Gentleman.(buzzcode and answer, please)

Stacey: The Camaro, which we will have a drawing for during the break, was behind #4.(fanfare)Greg: Well, Sam pulled it off last episode. Anyone can still win, but who will? We'll finish with the all-important Speed Round after the break. (main theme to commercial)(cheers and applause) (fade to commercial)
(during the break, for On-Demand viewers) All right, now for the drawings. In a moment, we'll know how many of you there are. (pause) 1,000? There are exactly 1,000 of you here tonight, so everybody gets $100. No matter what. (audience cheers) Now, you also each have a ticket number. If your number is drawn, make yourself heard, react, stand up, so that we know you're here. I'll recognize you and you can claim your prize. OK? (audience reacts) OK, good. Now, this first drawing is for the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro worth over $35,000. (audience ooohs) Burton, what is our first lucky number? (the random number generator reveals....) Burton: And the first number is 5-9-1! Congratulations, you've just won a new car!(a 13-year-old girl screams her head off and runs up to the stage) Greg: Wait just a minute. How old are you? Girl: 13!Greg: Oh, my goodness, and you got a ticket. There must be some mistake. Did you bring your parents with you? Girl: Yes, I did.Greg: Well, bring them up, because they'll have to claim your new car! Come on up! (and her parents run up on stage) Welcome, 5-9-2 and 5-9-3. You understand this is strictly for legal purposes. She has won the car, but you'll have to claim it. Should I give the girl the keys? (audience shouts in the positive, I give the keys to the girl and everything else to the parents) Congratulations. Now, just go over there and we'll have everything written up for you. Give this family a nice round of applause. (audience cheers, the three exit) All right, now, here's the big one. I have a check here for $100,000. One of you shall get it. Everyone, stand by, because it could be you! Burton....? (the random number generator reveals....) Burton: And the winner is 5-3-3! Congratulations! You've just won ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS!(an elderly black woman runs up on stage and bounces around in excitement, chasing me around) Greg: Where you do you get your stamina, ma'am? (audience laughs) That's incredible. Congratulations. Tell you what, why don't you four stay up here on stage, and we'll introduce you on television. You'll get to be on TV from coast to coast. (fade in, main theme closes, cheers and applause)Greg: I'm here with four lucky people. To my left, we have the winners of the Camaro. Holding the keys is Lindsey. Her number came up, and she won the car. However, claiming it for her are her parents, Roger and Barbie. They flew in all the way from Philadelphia for a wedding, and decided to see our show. Now, they'll have a Camaro waiting for them at home. And to my right.... this bundle of energy is Pauline Anderson. She's 85 years old, and she's not Samoan at all. She's black. During the break, we discovered that she was on The Price is Right back in 1981 and chased Bob around. (short footage of Pauline chasing Bob around, File Footage Courtesy: Mark Goodson Productions/CBS) (back to studio) And when she found out she won a hundred thousand, she had that pep in her step again. Congratulations to both of you. You may return to your seats. (audience cheers) Now, back to that all-important Speed Round. Sam and Matt.... this round's gonna be the round that they're gonna throw it back to you. By now, you should've somehow realized what you gotta do. I don't believe that anybody feels the way we do about you now. (audience reacts) I suppose you'll want me to start breaking into Oasis, now. Forget it. May I have 10 questions on the clock, please? Matt: $40 Steven: $123 Sam: $54
[10]
(ding)OK. The score is Matt at $40, Steven at $123, and the champ at $54. Matt and Sam, go on the attack. Steven, the name of the game for you is defense. D-Fence. Good luck to everyone. So, the option is yours. Will you take 1,500 months of Netflix, or will you come back with us to Los Angeles and try for another prize? Here's 10 seconds to decide. (drumroll)And what's your decision?

Good man. (the horn fanfare plays as we shake on it, cheers and applause)
All right, now, we'll just walk over here. (we walk to the Ten-in-a-Row desk, I lift the laptop lid) As you know, winning seven games in a row earns you not only all the prizes and the million-dollar bonus, but also your Personal Cash Jackpot. Since you're a new champion, we're starting yours at $500,000. (audience cheers) And you can add as much as $250,000 more to it by playing this game. I'll ask you 10 questions. For each one, you'll have three seconds to give me an answer. Each right answer moves you up the ladder, each pass or wrong answer drops you to the bottom. Get 10 in a row, you'll add a quarter-million to your P-C-J! (audience cheers) And tonight's the last night you can do that. After that, it's a maximum of 100-grand a night, so if you played perfectly all six times you played it, your P-C-J would be up to $1.25 million! (audience cheers) Now, are you ready to go? (PMing you the questions now, stand by)

(Stacey joins us at the desk) Now, here's something you can try at home during the weekend to impress your friends. Take a number, add five to it, then double it. Subtract four from it, then divide it in half. Then, subtract that original number from the new number. You should end up with 3. Stacey: I just did it in my head, and you're right!Greg: Yeah.
