Here is a different kind of game that I'd like to try with folks. It's called Letter Rip. Here is how it works. The object of the game is to come up with as many names as you can based on dice rolls. Here's what I mean. There are dice that have different letters on them. Two dice are rolled and the two letters that appear are the initials that will be used. The names you will be coming up with are names of famous people, dead or alive, real or fictional. When you want to roll the letter dice, just type "roll" into the reply box. After all sets of dice have been rolled, there is a category die that gets rolled. The category that appears is the category of famous names you'll be coming up with. For example, if the initials were M.M and your category was Television, you could say Mickey Mouse. Or if the initials were G.W and the category was History, you could say George Washington. Now you don't need to stick the specific category that is rolled. You can come up with any famous person's name, just as long as it is an actual person. When you come up with your names, you will PM them to me. (Deadline is 24 hours.) After the time is up I will ask everybody what they put down. If you come up with a famous person's name based on the rolled initials, you score 1 point. If you come up with a name that fits the category, you will receive 3 points. If you didn't come up with a name, no points are awarded. After 3 rounds, whoever has the most points wins the game and will move on to the bonus round for a chance at $25,000. We'll need three players who are willing to give this game a try.

I am doing very well F.S.! I love word games and games like Scattergories and this game seems to be right up my alley.
Speaking of which, I enjoy watching my son, who is a high school senior, bowl and I bowl on rare occasion myself.
I've been married almost 26 years and we live near historic Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania. I am employed as a data entry specialist for pharmaceutical research and in my spare time I enjoy writing, watching historical documentaries, football, playing card and board games, watching vintage sitcoms and game shows, and spending time with my two little grand nieces.

Good to have you David. Good luck players. Here comes Round 1. Remember that we are coming up with the names of famous people, dead or alive, real or fake. Each famous name gets you one point and three points pertaining to the category. There are five sets of dice, with two dice each to roll, so everybody will have a chance to roll at least one set. Bill, how about you roll the first set. Whenever you are ready, type "Roll" into the reply box.

Now we go to James. I see our first name here is Bill Elliott. From my understanding, he is a retired NASCAR driver. So that deserves a point, but since you stuck to the category of sports, that's three points for you.
*Ding*
*Applause*
Next name you have here is Kevin Love, who plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Three points!
*Ding*
*Applause*
Next you have Harry Caray. According to my notes, he is a sportscaster. Since sportscasters fall under the Sports category, you get three points!
*Ding*
*Applause*
Next we have George Washington. Of course! Our very first President. One point!
*Ding*
*Applause*
Next we have Kevin Lewis. I should know this guy. He is a columnist for the Boston Globe. That's one point!
*Ding*
*Applause*
Your final name is Bob Eubanks. Everybody knows him! He was the host of Love Connection as well as Wheel of Fortune at one point. Speaking of one point, that's another one for James!
*Ding*
*Applause*
That is 12 points for James.

Finally, we go to David. First you said Howard Cunningham. This is a fictional character from the 1970's sitcom Happy Days. And a happy day it is because that gets you a point!
*Ding*
*Applause*
Last you said George Washington. Just like what James said. We know that name is acceptable so that's a point!
*Ding*
*Applause*
And that is the end of round one! James is in first with 12 points, David in second with 2 points, and Bill in third with nothing. Don't worry Bill we have plenty of game left. We're gonna take a break and then come back for more Letter Rip! Don't go away!
*Fade to commercial*
