If it's lower, you'll become our new champion, an additional $5,000, and a $5,000 bonus for calling all 5-cards right. Is it lower? [BUZZER, AUDIENCE GROANS]No, it's an Ace. And the challenger loses all four cards. Our champ Matt is still alive. You have a free chance and must play on your base card... ...a 4.

And we'll move the freeze bard for Matt with a one card advantage over David. Next question coming right up... *grabs card* David... we've asked 100 people who have a pig as a pet-- If a local butcher offered you $25,000 for your pig, would you sell it?How many of them say they would sell their pig for 25 grand?

|
|
Post by gameboy2000 on Mar 17, 2017 11:22:27 GMT -5
I would say about 35. I don't think they would want to sell something they have become attached to.

[DING]35 out of 100 say they would sell their pig for $25,000 to a local butcher. What do you think, Matt... higher or lower?

Post by mringgenberg on Mar 17, 2017 22:40:42 GMT -5
Nobody would ever want to sell a pig to a butcher in their wildest dreams. Even if it was for a large amount of money. It's going to be lower.

[DING]David says 35 and Matt says it's lower... The actual number of pig owners say they would sell their pig for $25,000 to a local butcher is-- [DING-DING-DING, APPLAUSE]5. Matt is correct... it is lower. Matt... you have a 10 as your base card. Do you want to play on your 10 or change it?

That's good to hear, Matt. Now that Matt and David have each won a game, it's time for us to level the playing field. Rachel and Amber have placed three cards for both players instead of the original five. *grabs card* And to break that tie, we will be playing a one-question... SUDDEN DEATH match. Someone will have to win it on this final play of the cards. Matt... we've asked 100 13 year old girls-- Does it seem like it's taking forever to grow up?How many of them say it's taking forever to grow up?

It seems that way for some girls being that early in the teens so its going to be in the middle. 48

I think more girls feel that way, so I am going to say higher.

[DING]This will be decided. Matt says 48 of them... and David says it's higher... The actual number of 13-year old girls say it's taking forever to grow up is-- [DING-DING-DING, APPLAUSE]54. Dave's right... it is higher. David, it's Sudden Death time. Before you play your cards, I'm gonna turn over both base cards. Matt has a 9 and you have a 4. You can either play on your 4 or pass it to Matt. And if you pass it to Matt, he must play on his 9 and call both cards right. What's your decision, David... play or pass?

I'm going to play and go higher than the 4.

David is taking that risk. If a 2, 3, or another 4 shows up, Matt remains champion and play the Money Cards. Is it higher...? [BUZZER]No. And that means Matt is still our champion!!! [WINNING BELL SOUNDS, WIN CUE 2, CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]
Matt, come on down here and stand at the FremantleMedia spot. David, you were a good contender. You could have passed the card to the champ in order to win the championship. But it's the decision that counts. You'll be leaving us with $500 and a trip to the land of parting gifts. Give it up for David B. [APPLAUSE]Right after these messages, our champ Matt is going to the bonus round and have his chance at winning the big payoff including a new car. Stay with us... the Money Cards is next on Card Sharks.[CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]*fade to commercial* ========================================================================

*back to studio* [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Welcome back to Card Sharks, everybody. Matt Ringgenberg is still our defending champion. So far... he has a total of $55,359 in cash and prizes. And in a couple of minutes, he'll try his luck at winning more. Are you ready to win more money and a car?
