After Shopper's Bazaar came the first Wheel of Fortune pilot! Don't worry, no Kookie Byrnes and no drinking on this version. Here are some ground rules for this version: -Four rounds will be played with top values of $350, $500, $750 and $1,000 respectively. -$25 is now the minimum value on the wheel. -Free Vowel and Your Own Clue are retired and Bankrupt is added to the wheel. -Buy a Vowel is only present from Round 2 onward. -Free Spin is removed from the Wheel after Round 3. -Instead of a category, I will give you a clue to each puzzle. -Instead of a row used for incorrect letters, the used letter board will appear below the puzzle. -Solving a puzzle in the first three rounds gives you the option to shop for prizes or place your winnings on account. Any leftover money will be placed on account and is susceptible to Bankrupt. -Solving the Round 4 puzzle gives you the right to shop with any leftover money put on a gift certificate. I would like three players. Who's in?

*"Give It One" starts up* Jim Thornton: A game table, a trip to Nashville, a flat-screen TV, a hot dog cart, a set of recliners or a new spa! These are just some of the many exciting prizes available. Total retail value of all these prizes: $52,650! Yours to buy today on Wheel of Fortune! *cheers and applause* And now, here's your host: Kevin Kolsen! Me: Thank you, Jim! Hello! Welcome one and all to Wheel of Fortune! We have an exciting game ahead of us, I can feel it already. We also have lots of prizes to give away. Before we do that, everyone please give me a hand in welcoming our hostess, the lovely Susan Stafford! *cheers and applause as Susan walks on stage* Susan: Hello, Kevin! And now it gives me great pleasure to introduce to you today our three contestants. *"Give It One" resumes* Our first player is a cashier whose hobbies include writing, technology and studying Korean, please welcome Kourtney Wilson! Up next is a cashier from Council Bluffs, his name is Matt Riggenberg! Finally in the blue spot from east LA as in Lower Alabama, our third player is James Greek! Me: Thank you, Susan. Contestants, while she takes her place at the puzzle board, I'm going to explain a bit how this game works. You're looking to collect money from our Wheel of Fortune so you can buy any of the nice prizes you see behind me on stage. You do that by guessing letters in our puzzle in front of you. Remember, it can be a person, a place or a thing. I'll show you what's on our wheel right now. *spins wheel* Three hundred and fifty dollars is the top dollar value for our first round of play. I'll point out a couple of hazards. You'll want to watch out for Lose a Turn and you'll really want to watch out for that Bankrupt the black space. Don't hit that or you'll lose all your cash but not your merchandising because once you buy a prize from our displays, it's yours to keep. You've taken a look at our first puzzle and I'll tell you we are looking for the name of a well-known comedian. There's your clue. We start this game with the player behind the red podium. Kourtney, that's you. Best of luck to you as you start this game. Give that wheel a big spin!

Welcome back! This is Round 2 of Wheel of Fortune. This is our next puzzle. The clue is it's something to eat. I'm also going to show you some changes we've made to the wheel. The top dollar is now $500. We've added a new space called Buy a Vowel which will let you call a vowel for $250. Now, we left off with Kourtney solving the puzzle last time so he gets to start this round. Good luck!
