20 on the Red for the game and the championship! (flip) (Screams of disbelief) No... Oh Kourtney, I am sorry about that! That board was as unkind to you as the Buried Treasure game proved to be. Guess the board now has Space Pirates lurking behind it! But you still have 2 matches, just 1 away from victory, Kevin and James still with 1 each as they wipe their collective brows and do a collective sigh of relief...you're still in this game guys! Starting from scratch practically. We still have The Planets, not to add insult to injury with that space board, Newscasters and a new category which is... Horse Racing. Contestants, please submit your codes to me at this time, higher than 0 but lower than 101.

This time the code is... 49. Who was closest? Hey it's our champion Kevin! Kevin requested "THE PLANETS" as his category... (ding) This is another new bonus, instant cash if you get 3 out of 4 correct in this category Kevin, in this case a $350 cash bonus to you. Here are the four questions, each has either a TRUE or a FALSE answer... 1.) Ganymede, the largest moon of our solar system, is a moon to Jupiter, the largest planet. 2.) Neptune is the windiest planet in our solar system. 3.) It takes Neptune more than 160 Earth years to orbit the sun once. 4.) Although Venus is sometimes called Earth's twin, Venus' orbit is clockwise while Earth's is counter-clockwise.

First three: True. Last: False.

Although the last one is also true, so too are the first three... (In a poor Patrick Wayne voice) YOU WIN!!!!! Well you win $350 in bonus money and one contract, and three picks from the big board... But it takes two completed contracts before you can play the big board. New category sliding in... To go along with HORSE RACING and NEWSCASTERS we now add... M*A*S*H, this deals specifically with the network television series, not the motion picture. Players, please submit your codes at this time.

77 is the code... Kevin is closest again with 80! And he has selected NEWSCASTERS.... (ding) $400 bonus if you get 3 out of 4 here Kevin, and more importantly, a trip to the matching board. Here's your questions... 1.) Walter Cronkite retired as the CBS Evening News anchor in 1982. 2.) Legendary CBS newscaster Edward R. Murrow smoked Camel brand cigarettes. 3.) Former NBC Nightly News anchor Tom Brokaw was born after the attack on Pearl Harbor. 4.) The current anchor of ABC World News Tonight is named David Muir.

Number 1 is actually False. Walter retired from that position in March 1981, not in 1982. Number 2 is actually True, Mr. Murrow did smoke Camels. (audience groans) And since the other two answers won't matter, we'll re-use those questions at a future time. Very sorry about that Kevin. Kourtney, you're next closest to the code. Two categories remaining, Horse Racing and M*A*S*H the television series, which one for you?

It's the way I prefer my potatoes too... No bonus card, but here are the questions... 1.) The last regular cast member to leave the series prior to the finale was Gary Burghoff. 2.) In spite of his many wacky attempts to be discharged with a Section Eight, Corporal Klinger was promoted. 3.) Alan Alda's real life father appeared on the series twice. 4.) None of the cast from the 1970 motion picture were retained for the television series.

Corporal Klinger was indeed promoted to Sergeant and the last answer is False, Gary Burghoff appeared in the film and the TV series, well done Kourtney, 4 for 4! (applause) I am sorry there was no bonus attached to that category for you. www.dougmorris.net/nmghsh/sfxhstimeup.mp3No worries ladies and gentlemen, we're not having a fire drill. That signal sounded because I have some good news, some perhaps sad news, and some hopefully good news to share in that order. Firstly, since Kourtney won the last contract, he will go to the board in a moment and will receive 8 picks. Additionally, we have removed the NO MATCH card from the board. Kourtney, if you can make a three on a match this time out, you and your two opponents will share $15,000 in cash, $5,000 for each of you! If you get an instant match in your first three picks, we'll double that and each of you will win $10,000 in cash! And Kourtney, since we're still doing the outer space theme, I will ask you to pick one of the symbols, Moon, Star, Saturn or Comet. If your first three picks match what you choose, not only will all three of you win $10,000 but all THREE of you will take home the new car as well! (Wild cheers & applause). Sadly we are doing this because this will be the last "Three on a Match" episode presented for this season at least. We're replacing this show with another classic matching game, the return of an American classic, Concentration. It will be here on NBC at this very same time and with yours truly still at the helm. Kourtney, which symbol do you select, Moon, Star, Saturn or Comet? And also, which box do you select first this time? Let's really end this thing with a blaze of glory!

Shooting for the stars I see. A title of a long-forgotten NBC daytime game show, "Shoot for the Stars"... (flip) (groans) Not only isn't it a star, it's Saturn. Three different celestial objects now up there. You have one pick remaining for yourself in the 20 column Kourtney, and 5 picks remaining overall. Where to next?
