Mark and David, I'm sorry you weren't able to participate in more clues, but I thank you for being on the show and maybe we'll see you again in the future. Bill, you shot out of the gate in the Jeopardy! round and for a time there, I thought you were going to run away with it, but Jon had other plans as it turns out. Matt, you needed those final two clues for any chance to put pressure on Jon, but alas, it was not to be. Jon, you've played a terrific game today, especially in Double Jeopardy! and unless you pull a Cliff Clavin on us, you should be unbeatable! Ladies and gentlemen, let's hear it for all 5 of our contestants! (audience gives everyone a warm round of applause) It's a runaway for Jon, but a good battle for 2nd place between Bill and Matt! Bill, we shall begin with you. Heading into Final Jeopardy! you were in 3rd place with $6,000. Let's see what state song you came up with...  Well, you were close to the right state Bill, but I'm afraid that is incorrect. Let's see what it's going to cost you...  The whole kit and caboodle unfortunately, leaving you with no dollars on the board.  Matt, you were in 2nd place with $8,000 -- did you come up with the correct state song?  Well, you were also close to the right state, but it's not Indiana, I'm afraid. You wager was...  ...everything as well, meaning you are also at $0.  Finally, we have Jon who made it a runaway win at the end -- did he have the correct response...  He did indeed! (audience begins to applaud) Did Jon wager anything to add to his lead...  (audience continues applauding and cheering) He certainly did, bringing his impressive 1-day total on our show to...  ...twenty-seven thousand five hundred dollars! As the picture shows, he was quite the character, was loved by all who knew him and would give up his kingdom for a cardboard box.
His health took a turn this year, but he had 13 wonderful years full of fun and adventure.
