Well, this is Las Vegas so what do you expect? In any event, good luck to you as we're about to play Blackjack. Now, as Melanie and Martina get to bring out a new deck of cards that were shuffled, cut and sealed by a 3rd party from another casino down the road, let me explain how this game works. Greg, you are going to be our special dealer for this game. Obviously, we all want to get as close to 21 as possible without going over. Now, in our version, if anyone of our players makes a Blackjack, the payoff is 2-to-1. Now Greg, for every one chip that our players lose, you will win $100, and of course, you must take another card at 16, and you must stand on 17, whether an Ace is there or not. To our players, the maximum bet is 500 chips, but in this case, you are allowed to go All-In at this point, knowing that you are risking Elimination. Now, before we deal out the cards, Bill, Matt, and Sam, please make your bets. Here's the Chip Count to remind you where you are. BILL: 230 MATT: 50 SAM: 80

OK, and what if I get an Ace as the top card? Do you offer players insurance?

I knew you were going to ask that, Greg. There's no Insurance here in this version of Blackjack. We're going to make things smooth and simple. Only hits and stands. No Double Downs, no Insurance, none of those.

Everyone has bet 50 chips, so Greg, that's a possible $15,000 in cash if you beat them all, and if you do beat them all, then you'll win a BBO Nighthawk Poker table, which is valued at $2,250. And now, let's deal out the cards. Bill has a 10, Matt has a 9, and Sam has a Queen, with the hidden card for Greg. Let's see if Sam and Bill are lucky enough to find an Ace for Blackjack. Hit it! Bill has 12, but both Matt and Sam are in good shape as they each have 19, and Greg has a 7. Bill, we start with you. You have a 12. Do you want to Hit or Stand?

All right, Melanie. Let's deal out the next card for Bill, hoping that it's a 9 or lower. It's an 8 for a 20! (audience applause) Now Bill, I got to ask, even if I know what the answer is going to be? Hit or Stand?

All,
Due to some difficulties with my machine at home, I will be off the grid later today.
I'm taking it to Geek Squad to get looked at tomorrow at 3pm, but I will be disconnecting it this afternoon when I get home so it will be ready to go tomorrow.
I'll try to update the threads where I am hosting once more when I get home, if my machine cooperates. I'll try to update things on other threads where I am a contestant either from my work computer or from my son's or my wife's computer when home.
If I am a bit slower than usual to reply to a thread, this is why.
Best,
Bill

Thank you Bill for the notice. Now, over to Matt, in which I got to ask the dumb question: You have 19. Would you like to hit or stand?

Well Greg, you're right, but you're not in good shape. I have a feeling. Now then, we're going to turn over your card Greg. If it's a 10, Face Card, or an Ace, it's over, and all 3 players will win. Martina, flip the card! It's a King of Hearts, and Greg's heart is broken because it's over, and all 3 players have won! (audience and players applause) BILL: 280 MATT: 100 SAM: 130All 3 players are still in as Bill is still in the lead at 280 chips, Sam at 130 chips, and Matt at 100 chips. Greg, I'm sorry that our players have beaten you, but you will leave with a consolation prize of $500 in cash and a special gift. Thank you, Greg. (audience applause) Now that our players got some chips back, they are now going to have to kick in the afterburners, because when we come back, we're going into the Last Chance round, where one of these 3 players will earn the right to play the dice for over $75,000 in cash and prizes! Stay tuned!

Johnny: To anyone who finishes between 3001 to 4999 chips will have a chance to pick one of these prizes...
It's four dirt bikes! (applause) These 250-cc street-legal dirt bikes come with a durable aluminum frame, plus four-speed transmission, chain-driven rear brakes and all-terrain tires. Retail value: $8,674!
Or a trip to New Orleans!(applause) You and a guest will fly round-trip coach from Las Vegas to New Orleans for a six-night stay at a luxury hotel located in the French Quarter. Continental breakfast and room service are included. Retail Value: $6,300!
Or a trip to Miami!(applause) You and a guest will fly round-trip coach from Las Vegas to Miami, Florida, where you will spend six nights at the Hilton South Beach. Located just steps from the South Beach entertainment district, and provides spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. Daily continental breakfast is included. Retail Value: $7,450!
And now, back to the All-New Dealer's Choice, and the Last Chance round!DK: Thank you, Johnny Gilbert! First of all, let's check the chip count and see where we stand... BILL: 280 MATT: 100 SAM: 130Bill is in the lead with 280 chips, Sam is in second with 130 chips, and Matt is in 3rd with 100 chips. However, I got bad news for both Matt and Sam. At this point, it's impossible for you to win the car, but you do have a chance to win one of the prizes within the 3001-4999 range. On the other hand, I got good news for Bill. You have a chance to win the car, but that is if, and only if, you play your cards right in our Last Chance round game... Total Up. First of all, we got a new standard deck of 53 playing cards, including a Joker. The first 5 cards will be shown, one at a time. Aces are worth 1 point, 10s and Face Cards are worth 10 points, and the Joker is worth 20 points. Hence why the range and the paytable goes as follows: If the total of the 5 cards range between 31-40, we pay you off at even money. If the range totals 41-60, the payoff is 3-to-1. If the total of the 5 cards falls between 21-30, the payoff is 5-to-1. However, if the cards somehow total between 6-20, the payoff is at an unbelievable 20-to-1 odds! (cheers and applause) Now, since this is the last game of the night, there is no limit in this, which means you could go All In at this point. But to build up the excitement and tension, each of you will PM me your wager, AND your total range. What's at stake is a trip to the Bonus Round of Rolling in The Dough for over $75,000 in cash and prizes! With all that said, PM me your bets and range.

Our players have made their bets and their ranges. Now, let's play Total Up! Melanie, deal out the first card. It's a 7 of Diamonds. A Deuce of Clubs is the second card. The third card is a 10 of Hearts. The fourth card is the Jack of Diamonds. Melanie, what is the last card? It's the 6 of Clubs, which means... The final total is 35, which means that the winning range is 31-40. We're going to start with Matt first. What is your range. MATT: 21-30That is incorrect! How much did you bet there, buddy? MATT: 21-30 / 100The whole thing, which means that you leave with... BILL: 280 MATT: 0 SAM: 130Audience: NOTHING! I'm sorry, Matt. With 0 chips, that you don't win any prizes, and 0 x $2.5 is still $0. However, if there's any comfort at all to this mortal wound, is that you get $1 per point that is played in this game, so that $35 for you to spend at the Casino. Thanks for playing, Matt Ringgenberg. (audience applause as Matt stands up and heads backstage) Sam, you're next. What's your range? SAM: 6-20Trying for the Big One, but it didn't pay off! So, how much are you going to lose? SAM: 6-20 / 100100 as well, so you final total is... BILL: 280 MATT: 0 SAM: 3030 chips. Stand by, Sam. Now, Bill, you were in the lead throughout the night. What's your range? BILL: 41-60And all 3 of you have failed. (Epic Buzzer) Now, how much did you bet? BILL: 41-60 / 5050 chips and that brings you down to... BILL: 230 MATT: 0 SAM: 30230 chips, which leaves you as our winner! (audience cheers and applause) Now, Bill, we'll get to you in just a moment. Sam, you get to pick one of the prizes within the 1-1500 chip range. A. Coca-Cola Freezer B. Golf Set C. Stereo System + iPadWould you like the Freezer, the Golf Set or the Stereo System?

The Stereo System and the iPad are yours! So, the Stereo System and iPad for $829, plus $5 per chip, or $150, for a total of $979 in cash and prizes. (audience applause for Sam) And that Bill that leaves with you! Same options. Which prize do you want?

I see what you mean. Anyways, the Freezer is yours! Now, you have a chance to multiply your 230 chips by $50, and here's how... [W] (I) [N] [N] [E] [R] (P) (I) [C] [K] Pick one of these boxes. One of them says DOUBLE. Hit that and you get to pick again. 3 have 10, 3 have 15, 2 have 20, and 1 has 25.

I'll select the C in PICK please.

Post by dad90 on Oct 3, 2016 20:45:22 GMT -5
Very well, then let's see what's behind I in Pick...
[W] (I) [N] [N] [E] [R]
(P) ($10) [C] [K]
Well, it's $10, so we'll multiply your 230 chips by $10, or $2,300, and add that Freezer, which is worth $825, for a total of $3,125!
(audience applause)
Let's reveal the rest!
[$25] [$10] [$15] [$10] [$15] [DOUBLE]
[$20] [$10] [$15] [$20]
The DOUBLE was behind R, and the $25 was behind W. We'll be right back, and see if Bill can win over $75,000 by playing one of HIS former Bonus Games... ROLLING IN THE DOUGH!
