(flip) Whoa! Hello there. If you can find another Tuba in the $40 column on this next pick Matt, you'll not only have 1 match, but you'll be paid double the cash award attached to it. Where to now?

And let's see what is behind that $40 on the red box. $800. That pays double so Matt you have $1,600 and one match, Kevin still at $750 and 1 match. James, time for you to score! And one new rule, if a player makes a match and has any money left over, it will now carry over, so Matt, you still have $70 left and that will carry over for you.

All,
Due to some difficulties with my machine at home, I will be off the grid later today.
I'm taking it to Geek Squad to get looked at tomorrow at 3pm, but I will be disconnecting it this afternoon when I get home so it will be ready to go tomorrow.
I'll try to update the threads where I am hosting once more when I get home, if my machine cooperates. I'll try to update things on other threads where I am a contestant either from my work computer or from my son's or my wife's computer when home.
If I am a bit slower than usual to reply to a thread, this is why.
Best,
Bill

Hi gang,
Just a quick status update.
I am on my son's laptop. My tower is with Geek Squad. They said I should get it back by Friday, September 30th. So until then, or sooner depending on when they are able to fix it, I will be on a temporary hosting hiatus, since all of my visuals and question material are on that machine. However, I will be able to continue as a contestant, once a day, possibly twice a day during the week, since I can also access this site from work.
Thank you all for your patience, loyalty and friendship throughout these many years, some dating back to July 2007 when I joined Big Jon's site.
Bill

This time the code is 26, and who is closest? By Gosh and by Golly it is you James! Please select a letter in the word MATCH as well as a category. (Since I just now returned today, and since I know James is in the midst of a move, there won't be any strict deadline for now, but I'll check back in a few days and do a courtesy bump if need be.)

The odds are even, and Kevin you have $100. (applause). Although barely Kevin, $100 IS enough for a try at the board, but you'd only get three picks at best, one per column. Do you want to try for it or build up your account some more?

I don't think $100 will be enough. I'll try to earn more money.
