You're correct, John, and you finish this round with $9000. Kevin's in second with $3600 and Matt on the board with $2800. John Lopez is a writer according to the information on my card. What kind of things do you like to write about, John?

Well, I mostly relegate myself to fanfics and screenplays personally.

Ah yes, fanfics are always fun. I've written a few of them myself. Kevin Kolsen is an accountant from Long Island. Kevin, are there any times in your occupation where it's really stressful?

Yeah, there are those times. They're mostly from March through mid-April but we pull through.

Well that's good. There's always tough times in any job, but the important thing is to persevere. Matt Riggenberg is a supermarket clerk from Council Bluffs, Iowa, and he also just lost his grandmother not too long ago. Matt, what was the funeral like for your grandmother?

I've gone through those things myself before, so I know how you feel. (1997 theme) The silver lining out of this for Matt is that he picks first in Double Jeopardy! when we come back. (Fade to commercial)

(1997 theme, back to studio. Theme fades out) All three of our players are off to a good start, but Matt's the lucky one who gets to pick first in this round. (1984-2008 board fill sfx) Two Daily Doubles up there this time along with these categories for Matt's consideration. Poetic Women, Children's Literature, U.S. History, Lakes & Rivers, Adjectives and finally, Before & After. Matt, where do you want to start?
