I'm trying to figure out in the second format of that show when they say any person who makes 7 consecutive matches wins 10,000 in cash and prizes does that mean he has to win 2 games in a shutout (3 matches to none in 2 games) and one match in another or is it just 7 matches all together

Interesting ESP here. I was just yesterday listening to an old episode and heard that stated, and I wondered the same thing.

Actually, they win both $5,000 in a car. I did see Fred Abraham do that in his run and it has to be seven in a row throughout their run.

So for example if you get 3 matches and win a game but in the next game one of your opponents makes a match its back to square one I'm also guessing that you could win the car and cash by making an instant match and 6 matches In other words you have to make 7 in a row without your two opponents getting one

I re-watched the episodes on youtube, and that is the impression I got. As long as you get 7 matches in a row, even if you fail at times, without either of your opponents getting a match.
