For best host, I nominate the 2015 winner Doug Morris. Not only does he incorporate some nice graphics, but he has revised Second Chance into a really fun and enticing game to watch. Chain Reaction is very fun to play along with. He took the baton from Greg Palmer quite nicely on "On A Roll", and he even is doing a terrific job as host of "Celebrity Card Sharks", interjecting some very good observations during match play. Also, he is a terrific co-host with the Match Game portion of MG/HS. Very impressive to host so many shows, all of which are different, while still juggling a career as a disc jockey. His dry sense of humor is also something that I have a great appreciation for. Also kudos for Crag, the Numbers Game!
For best NEW host, I would like to submit my nomination at this time for Bryan Law. Bryan has come a long way in a very short time with regard to improvements with graphics enhancements, as well as adding interesting new twists to classic games such as Gambit, High Rollers and High Stakes Press Your Luck. He has and continues to exude a great deal of enthusiasm with his hosting duties.
For painful moment, I nominate Matt Ringgenberg on Gambit PM. This is kind of an iffy nomination because he froze on 15. Had he continued playing and drawn 2 more cards, he would have had a 20, which would have won for him every prize on the Gambit Board. Freezing on 15 however was the right thing to do, and had he continued and added 2 to make 17, he would still not have won all the prizes, since 18 or more was needed to do so, and most assuredly on 17 he would have frozen, so this is kind of a hybrid painful moment, since it was based on a "what would have happened" query.
Best,
Bill

I second Doug Morris and Bill I thank you for your nomination and thank NGC for allowing me to follow a dream that I've always had since I was six years old. Even though I may drift off from the game show world from time to time, it doesn't take much to fire it back. This time with classic game show in the real world coming back, I've never been more excited as I have been about game shows. If I had not found that Gambit picture of Wink and Elaine on Facebook, I probably wouldn't be talking to you guys right now. But best to save the rest if I win.
Again thank you all!

I think once my Series of Catchphrase gets under away, I think I want to nominate my show Catch Phrase for Best of Channel 3 as it never played on NGC before after it's demise in 1983 with Art James.

Perhaps if you have a split personality?
I also want to suggest something akin to a "lifetime" achievement award, but in this case, for longevity.
I'd like to suggest a special award for Greg Palmer having now hosted 50 consecutive episodes of $ale of the Century. That takes a great deal of determination and staying power, and a tremendous amount of work researching a great many questions and answers as well, as well as myriad prizes.

You are welcome, and it is well earned. What's more, you stuck it out at Big Jon's to finish an episode, in spite of all the spam that was going on. Talk about staying power!!!

I know it is in poor taste, but I actually would like to nominate the following as a "Funniest Moment"...from my own show "Three on a Match" : (koopakid17): The letter A and Biblical Women, please. A $90 pot at least this time... (slide) And a bonus card....2 for the money this one is called. Ordinarily to claim the $90, you would have to get 3 out of 4 questions right, but with this bonus, you need only 2 correct answers, so you could have 2 misses and still be okay. Isn't having 2 misses considered polygamy? (Chuckling in the audience)... Leave it to old Bill to make a joke about such a sin while dealing with a Bible category. I'm waiting for the lightning bolt to strike me down!

I have a painful moment nomination. James had two insurance markers trying to roll an eight and blew it costing him over $9,000 in prizes on High Rollers IOB.

There should be, but quite honestly, so many are so extremely well done, I honestly don't think I could choose just one.

How about a new Best Moment: drgullen scoring an amazing comeback win on my most recent episode of Press Your Luck after picking up three Whammies earlier? Even now, I'm still shocked that all of this took place at the end!
