On with the show... (Punch Card Theme)GEORGE GRAY: Today, these two contestants are going after the dough, and a chance to go for even more prizes, such as a trip and even a car! Find out who it is, as we play the all-new Punch Card! And now, here's your host, Erin Harris!ERIN HARRIS: Thank you very much, George Gray, and welcome to another edition of Punch Card, the newest game show sensation! We had an exciting and successful debut, but unfortunately, it was ruined by a heartbreaking ending in the Bonus Round, when someone lost everything on the final pick. But we're looking to avoid that sad ending with today's contestants; please give a warm welcome to jman8606 and pathfinder20! Now before we play, let me remind you how it's done: Each of you will punch out a set number of holes for each round, and the contestant who gets more money after four rounds will then move on to the Bonus Round for a shot at more cash and prizes. Simple as that. So if you're ready, let's play the first round!(round intro cue)In the first round, we have a nine-hole punch card, and each of you will punch out three holes. We have cash amounts from $10 to $90, and jman8606, you will start first.(Please select three numbers from 1 to 9.)

ERIN: 1, 3 and 5 are yours. Now let's start with jman8606. His first selection was 2, and he'll start out with...
$10
...a mere $10.
ding!
And then he picked 4, from which he gets...
$30
...$30 more, for a total of $40.
ding!
Finally, he picked 8, and what are we going to add to that $40?
$90
$90 more, which gives you a grand total of $130.
ding!
And now we turn to pathfinder20. Your first pick was 1, and we're going to start you off with...
$80
...$80.
ding!
That's impressive! Let's see what you're going to get from your next hole, which is 3.
$50
$50, which gives you $130...
ding!
...and that means you will have more than jman8606 by the time we get to 5, which is your last selection. How much more will we add to your bank?
$20
Just $20, but now you're in the lead with $150.
ding!
Now let's move on to Round 2.
(round intro cue)
This time, we have 16 holes to select, and pathfinder20, you will select four holes first.
(Please select four numbers from 1 to 16.)

ERIN: And you get 2, 4, 8 and 10. By the way, I forgot to mention that the dollar amounts range from $25 to $400, so let's get down to it right now. Starting with pathfinder20 and his first selection, which is 3. What do we find there?
$225
$225, and the total is now $375.
ding!
Next, you selected 13, and you will add...
$325
...$325 more, for $700 even.
ding!
Then you selected 6; let's see what's in there.
$275
It's $275, bringing you up to $975.
ding!
And you picked 12 last. What are we going to add to your total?
$350
$350 more, and that gives you a grand total of $1325.
ding!
Now let's go to jman8606, whose first selection was 2. How much is that hole worth?
$400
$400, and you now have $530.
ding!
You then picked 4, and in there, we find...
$150
...$150, making it $680.
ding!
Your next selection was 8, and from there, we will add...
$75
...a mere $75, for a total of $755.
ding!
Your last selection was 10; how much more are we going to get from that?
$300
$300, and after two rounds, you have a grand total of $1055.
ding!
(Punch Card Theme)
pathfinder20 currently leads with $1,325, but we're just getting started. When we come back, there's even more money at stake. How much more will our contestants win, and which one will be going to the Bonus Round at the end of our show? Find out after this!

ERIN: Welcome back to Punch Card, where we have pathfinder20 leading jman8606, $1,325 to $1,055. But now it's time for Round 3, and we have a 25-hole punch card ready to go.
(round intro cue)
Now, each of you will select five holes for yourselves. We'll start with jman8606 again. Which five holes do you want?
(Please select five numbers from 1 to 25.)

ERIN: Actually jman8606, we needed only five, so we will give you 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11 only. Interesting strategy indeed, going all-odd. pathfinder20, it's your turn now.

ERIN: You now have 1, 4, 16, 25 and 19. With cash amounts ranging from $50 to $1250 this time, we wish the both of you good luck. Starting with jman8606, with a total of $1,050 to build on. Your first selection was 3, and from there you will get...
$50
...$50, for a total of $1,100.
ding!
Then you selected 5, and that will give you...
$450
...$450, taking you up to $1,550.
ding!
Next up was 7, and what do we get from that?
$300
$300 more, and you're now at $1,850.
ding!
And then you picked 9, which has...
$200
...$200, making your total $2,050.
ding!
Your last selection was 11, and let's see what we get from there.
$950
You get $950, and you're now at a grand total of $3,000 even.
ding!
Now we come to pathfinder20, who has $1,325 to start with. First selection is 1, and you get...
$1200
...$1,200, taking you up to $2,525.
ding!
Next, you selected 4, and you will add to that...
$550
...$550, giving you $3,075.
ding!
So this guarantees that you will stay in the lead as we go to 16. How much is in there?
$1250
...$1,250, so you have $4,325.
ding!
Next up is 25. How much do we get?
$1150
$1,150 more, giving you $5,475.
ding!
Finally, you selected 19, and you will add to your growing pot...
$1050
...$1,050, for a grand total of $6,525.
ding!
So after three rounds, pathfinder leads jman8606 $6,525 to $3,000. (Punch Card Theme) But when we come back, we're pulling out all the stops with a 36-hole punch card, with lots and lots of money at stake. Don't go away; we'll be back after this.

ERIN: And 2, 5, 8, 11, 17 and 21 are yours. Let's start with pathfinder20, who has $6,525. Your first selection was 1, and we find...$400...$400, and you go up to $6,925.ding! Then you selected 4, and what do we find there?$1300$1300, which brings your total to $8,225.ding! Now let's see what you get in 9.$2400It's $2400, giving you $10,625.ding! Next up is 16. How much is it worth?$2600$2600 more, which gives you $13,225.ding! Your next selection is 25, and we're going to add...$1200...$1200 more to your total, which is now $14,425.ding! Finally, you selected 36, and how much more do you get?$1800...$1800, and your grand total is $16,225.ding! Good luck to you, and also to you, jman8606. With $3,000 to build on, you need to have found enough money to win. In fact, over $13,225 is what you need to play the Bonus Round. Your first selection is 2, and you're going to get...$1000...$1000, which gives you $4,000.ding! Next up is 5, and what are you going to add?$1400...$1400, making it $5,400.ding! Now we go to 8, and we're going to find in there...$1100...another $1100, and you now have $6,500.ding! You really need lots of big numbers with your last three punches. Let's see what we get in 11.$200Uh oh, it's another $200, so you have $6,700.ding! Let's hope 17 has a much better payout for you. How much is in it?$2200Well, it's $2200, which makes your total $8,900.ding! It looks like pathfinder20 is going to win, but let's see how much you're getting from your last selection, 21.$2100It's $2100, which gives you a grand total of $11,000 even.ding! And this means that pathfinder20 is going to the Bonus Round with $16,225!(multiple dings and win cue)Congratulations, pathfinder20, you will move on to the Bonus Round, but jman8606, we want to thank you for being on the show. You put up a valiant effort, but in the end, it wasn't enough. You have $11,000, and I hope you had fun. Hopefully, we'll see you again in the future. (Punch Card Theme) Alright, when we return, pathfinder20 will try for even more prizes, like cash, a trip and even a car! What's going to happen? Find out after this.

ERIN: Welcome back to Punch Card, where I'm here with pathfinder20, who is now ready to take on the Bonus Round. Before we get to it, let me tell you about the different slips that are hidden on this final punch card. In addition to the money, you can also win various prizes, like a trip and a car! But beware of the two bad things that are also out there: 1/2 Cash will cut your money in half, and Lose It All means you lose everything. And no matter what happens here, you keep your $16,225 in guaranteed cash. So if you're ready, let's play the Bonus Round!(Bonus Round Intro Cue)Step over there and punch out seven holes, and then we'll see how well you did.(Please select seven numbers from 1 to 49.)
