(as the audience chants, the contestants run to their spots) Audience: WHEEL! OF! FORTUNE![OPENING THEME](cheers and applause) (As we pan through the stage, a graphic of the Wheel forms, starting with several colored rings curling into place to form the frame of the Wheel, followed by the wedges falling down to form the Wheel itself, which transforms into this logo.) Jim Thornton: (VO) From the Sony Pictures Studios, it's America's game!(the animation reverses itself over a shot of the audience) The famous Wheel is spinning your way, with lots of cash and an assortment of fabulous and exciting prizes! And now, here are your host and hostess, Greg Palmer and Katie Cantrell!(Katie and I walk out together, a la Pat and Vanna, to cheers and applause) Greg: Thank you, Jim. (to Katie) Time to make the donuts. (the two of us separate as I go to my spot) Good morning, everyone, and welcome to Wheel of Fortune. Happy Wednesday to you all. We have half an hour, or 22 minutes, of fun and games, but first, let's meet these nice people. First, we have James Greek, from Elba, Alabama. WFSA 12 territory. Hiya, James. Please tell us about yourself.

I am a cashier at Firehouse Subs and have been working there for 7 years off and on. I love learning About other cultures which part of my winning will go towards. As for other things paying off my credit cards student loans and getting a newer car. (If I don't win one here first.)

Well, you may just have that happen, with your luck. And you have done quite well. Now, this is your last day with us, so speak now or forever hold your piece. What have you always wanted to say on Wheel of Fortune?

Just like our show. It's on twice a day. Once with me, and once with Pat. Please watch both our versions. Harry asked me to make that plug. Good luck, Jay. Let's play! (I spin the wheel) Top dollar in round 1 is worth $1,500. We're playing for cash, duh. Here's the first puzzle. (category cue)
