S H O P P I N G/F O R O L D/V I D E O G A M E S WHAT ARE YOU DOING? And I just got an N64 not too long ago, so I've been doing a lot of that lately myself. Anyway Matt, you won $11,400 in that round which puts you on the board into second place. (cue 1983 theme) And I'm happy to report that everybody has won something now which is just what we like to see. We'll crown a champion eventually, and we'll find out who our winner's going to be after this. (Fade to commercial)

A/_ _ _ T/_ I N _ I T _ A T I _ N THING Used letters: N,A,E,T,I Takes you down to $2,150. (Out of Time bells) But, not much time left. That sound means it's running a little short so I'll give the wheel a final spin. (I spin the wheel) I'll ask you for a letter. If it's in the puzzle, you'll get the option to solve or pass. Vowels worth nothing, consonants worth...................
$1,500
A nice amount. $2,500 apiece when we add $1,000 to what I landed on. Again, Thing is the category. Matt, it is still your turn. A letter please.

That is it! (1983 puzzle solve cue)
A/M U S T/W I N S I T U A T I O N THING That's exactly what that puzzle was for you, Matt, and you pulled through with $7,150 for that round. That puts you at $18,550 and that makes you our big winner! Nice going on that. Kori, he overtook you at the end, but you have nothing to hang your head about. $13,584 is a nice second place total. We thank you for being here. Leaf, you got off to a nice start, but then these guys kind of monopolized the wheel. But you still walk out of here with $5,350. Thanks for being here. Matt, let's go for a little walk here. (1983 theme plays as Matt and I head to the bonus area) We've got some nice prizes available here in the bonus round. We've got a week long cruise of the Mediterranean worth over $35,000. We also have a diamond ring worth over $28,000. There's also a Chevy Sonic up for grabs worth over $16,000. And we have a nice trip to Italy up for grabs as well. That one's worth more than $19,000. (Vanna opens an envelope showing $100,000) And the hundred grand is there as well. We will take a break and we'll see if Matt can win one of these fine prizes when we return. (Fade to commercial)

(Back to the studio) Well Matt, you've won over $18,000 to this point. Regardless of what happens here, you'll be coming back tomorrow for another game. But let's see if we can add to what you've won. Give that bonus wheel a spin if you please. (Matt spins the bonus wheel) All those prizes we mentioned are out there along with the hundred grand. (Wheel slows down and lands on the ampersand. I take the envelope; ding) All right, let's go to work on this puzzle. Character is the category tonight. RSTLN E. Vanna, how many of those are there? (bong)
_ _ S _ _ CHARACTER RSTLN E Just that, eh? Well, we certainly need more than that. Three more consonants and one more vowel if you please

Well, those are some good letters and they would usually be in a lot of puzzles. This would not be one of them.
_ _ S _ _ CHARACTER RSTLN E DMC A That's all you're going to get. You're a good player, though. 48 hours to try and solve the puzzle. If you don't know it, though, just say so and we'll show the answer. Good luck, Matt. (cue bonus round timer sfx)
