During the taping of this episode, we have come to learn of the passing of a legendary game show producer, and legendary television producer as well. Reg Grundy made $ale of the Century a huge hit in Australia, and brought the game here to the United States in 1983, where it enjoyed a 6 plus year run on NBC, and currently it has had a very long run with Greg Palmer as the Master of Ceremonies. To Mr. Grundy's family, friends and fans, we here at Wheel of Fortune extend our deepest condolences. I know Reg would want us to proceed, and so we shall. Players, the Any Letter wedge is still on the wheel this round, but now it's $500 instead of $250. Two Express Wedges on the wheel, each worth $500. Money can rack up very quickly if you land on that. We again have the Double or Half wedge for this round, also the last chance to pick up any Free Spin tokens. Take 2 wedge is still on the wheel, top dollar value is $1,500 this round, and we have another new wedge featured, that of a treasure chest. If you land on that and select a consonant that appears in the puzzle, you'll claim that treasure chest token. If you win the round without hitting a Bankrupt, you will then get to choose from 7 treasure chests, one of them contains $5,000 in cash! (applause) So that too could go a long way toward adding to your winnings today! Let's have a look at the next puzzle, shall we? There's our friend Sheldon gazing upon the board. Category this time is... (puzzle chimes) Before and After... This is round 3 so player 3 starts us off... Marc with a C, you get to spin first. Please select a number higher than 0 but lower than 25.

There's the Take 2 wedge.... Marc, I'll ask you for one consonant. If it's in the puzzle, you'll get $500 for each time it appears. If not, you simply lose your turn. If your letter appears, you'll then be asked immediately for a second consonant. If that appears, $500 for each time it does, if not, you lose your turn, but keep any money from your first consonant. So Marc, select one consonant at this time please...
