Welcome back one and all to Split Second. You might be wondering what I'm doing behind Jay's lectern. Well, simply put, Mr. Jianoran was booted as a result of some unhostlike behavior and the producers of the show decided to tap me last minute to take the reigns of this show, and well, here we are, and we are about to start the Countdown Round, and this time, we will be paying for bigger amounts for our players. Correctly giving 1 answer will be worth 250, 2 will be worth 500, and all 3 will be worth 750 dollars. Now contestants, you have a contract of answers to complete as well, and determining by your scores, we'll see how far you have to go to reach zero and possibly win that brand new car. Alright James, you are currently in the lead with 3600 dollars so you will have to answer only 4 correctly to win, Sheldon, with 2850 dollars, you need 5 to move on to the bonus round, and Matt, with 2600 dollars, you will have the hardest job, and you must answer 6 correctly in order to advance. Gentlemen, good luck to all of you.
