Move One Space | $2000 | Dallas | $5000 | Whammy | $525 | $1000 + One Spin | P | R | E | SS | Add A One + One Spin | Hammock | Y | O | U | R | $2000 | $900 | L | U | C | K | | Las Vegas | $500 | $2250 | Big Bucks | $1100 | $1500 + One Spin |
Stop at $800! And that's going to do for Round 1, in which Jay has $0 and 2 Whammies, Sheldon also has 2 Whammies, but also has $3,050. However, it's Matt who's currently in the lead with $8,400, which means that he has the advantage of going in our second and final round. And when we come back, there will be a new round filled with more Questions, Answers, Spins, Big Bucks, and possibly $1,000,000! Stay tuned!

That famous last line comes from Gone With the Wind! GONE WITH THE WIND CATCHER IN THE RYE THE GRAPES OF WRATHWhich means that Matt gets 3 spins, and Sheldon and Jay each get 1 spin. (ding) (ding) (ding)And the 2nd question goes like this: What phenomenon allows some radio waves (shortwave specifically) to propagate beyond the horizon and therefore all over the world?PM me your buzzcodes now.

Well, unfortunately for you guys, you're all wrong. In fact, you guys are WAY off. It's actually an Ionospheric Reflection GROUND WAVE PROPAGATION OCEANIC CURRENTS IONOSPHERIC REFLECTIONNo one gets any spins for that. You see, the ionosphere is the highest part of the Earth's atmosphere, and is located some 50km - 1000km above the surface. It is full of atomic particles electrically charged by UV radiation from the sun. This "shell" of particles acts to reflect (or refract) some radio waves back towards the earth. How much refraction occurs depends on several things including the density of the charged shell, and the angle of incidence, frequency and polarization of the radio signal. Shortwave signals, those between 3MHz and 30MHz, are the most easily "bent". Higher frequency signals (such as VHF), instead of being bent, tend to pass through the ionosphere while lower frequencies are so greatly attenuated by the atmosphere that really long distance communications are rare. Here's the 3rd question in which we're going to do some Olympics. In 2013, what sport was dropped from the 2020 Olympics before being reinstated some months later?PM me your buzzcodes now.

The department that refused to pay $400 to Australia around 1979 is none other than NASA! NASA FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION FEDERAL HOUSING ADMINISTRATION(Start at 00:45) And with that last question of the round finished, we have... (ding) (ding) (ding)Matt at 5 spins, Sheldon at 3 spins, and Jay with 7 lucky spins! And now, the only thing left to do is to go to our Big Board, where there's more than $175,000 in cash and prizes waiting for our players! Unfortunately, the Whammies are also waiting for them, but so is the Million Dollar Grand Prize! It's all coming up right after this!

(Start at 00:16) And welcome back, everybody! This is it, the 2nd round of Press Your Luck 2016! And now, it's time to take a look at our Big Board that will determine the fate of our players! And as you can see, we have over $200,000 in cash and prizes up there on the board, including a Prize Package dedicated to the Final Four of the NCAA tournament! Now, take a look at the hit it here space... The first one is for $25,000. The second one... is for $2,500. Hit that, and this appears... ONE MILLION DOLLARS! (audience cheers and applause) Unfortunately, those Whammies are up there, too, and they're going to do whatever it takes to make sure that you don't hit that space, and leave you flat broke! Now, let's take a look at the scores, and see where we stand... Jay is in 3rd with Nothing and 2 Whammies, Sheldon in 2nd with $3,050, but also has 2 Whammies, and Matt is Whammy-Free at the moment, and with $8,400 Matt, you'll be playing last in this round. Which means that the player with the lowest amount of money is going first, and Jay, that's you. 7 spins, $0, 2 Whammies. Let's make some money!
