All deadlines are 48 hours, and away we go. (intro) Rich: And now, a game of high stakes! Where every decision is a gamble and every move could be your last. High Rollers! (1987 theme) And here's the man with all the action, Mark Liotta! (I come out to a tremendous applause from the audience) Me: Thank you very much, Rich Fields. (Theme fades out) Welcome again to High Rollers, everyone. We had quite a day on our last show as we gave away not one, not two, but three cars. I don't know what this week will have in store, but we'll find out soon enough. The first thing we need to find out about is our players. Rich, tell us about them please. Rich: Our returning champion is James Greek, who has a one day total of $73,378 cash and prizes. Opposing James today is Billy Gardell. Me: Welcome to our show, Billy. Think you'll be able to replace James as champ today?

Well, it's all about luck. But I have to think positive. Yes, I'm taking over the champ!

You certainly seem like a positive man. And a confident one too, I might add. All right, let's listen to Rich as he tells us about the prizes we have available in today's first game. Rich: In column number one, a kitchen island. The Bull Western Q kitchen island includes four burner grill, refrigerator, storage door, porcelain tile countertop, umbrella and 16 piece stainless steel grilling set. Retail value: $7,000. In column two, a trip to Singapore! You'll fly round trip from Los Angeles to Singapore for a six night stay in a habitat room at the Naumi Hotel Singapore. Daily breakfast is included. Retail value: $9,180. And in column three, a trip to Disney World! You'll fly round trip from Los Angeles to Orlando, Florida for a six night stay at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando. You'll visit the Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios as well as fine dining. And just so you'll be able to shop for souvenirs, we're also giving you $2,000 in spending money. Retail value: $5,985. The total value of all the prizes in game one add up to $22,165. Me: Those look like some good prizes indeed. Let's see what our hot column is for this first game.
4 6 5 1 3 9 8 2 7
Hot column for this first game is the middle column, and here's our first question of the day. Unlike Saturn, which has hundreds of rings around it, which planet in our solar system has exactly one ring?

4 and 3.

Let's take the 4 and 3 off.
X 6 5 1 X 9 8 2 7
And here's our next question. Are Euro coins with the same value identical from country to country or are they different in each country?

They're identical

Oh no. They may look identical, but they're actually quite different. Billy, although only two numbers have been taken off the board, we already have a bad roll and that is the 4. So, will you roll or pass?

Eight's off the board and here's the next question. In 1995, Connie Chung was fired from her role as anchorperson on which news show?

Yes; she was a popular lady too. 4 is still the only bad number James, so roll or pass?

You'll own a kitchen island if you win this round. Most of the oil spilled in the 1989 Exxon accident in Alaska took place near which town?

Prince William sound?

The oil was actually spilled in Prince William Sound itself, which is near Valdez. Valdez is what were going for. Billy, the bad numbers now are 3,4 and 10; roll or pass

I can tell by the reaction you just gave that you know what sound is coming next. (bad roll sfx) That's the sound I'm referring to. James, you're the winner of Game 1. (Game win sfx) Well Billy, I know those dice can be fickle some of the time. The good news is that you're not out of it yet. We'll see what happens in Game 2 after this break. (Fade to commercial)

(Back to the studio) An $8,000 start today for James, winning the kitchen island as well as $1,000 cash for winning the first game. We're going to get into our second game right now, and we do so with a new prize in column one. Rich, what do we have up there? Rich: It's a 4K TV! From Sony, this 55 inch 4K Ultra HD Smart TV allows you to watch your favorite programs in 4K quality and includes voice recognition and video game streaming ability. Retail value: $3,000. Me: A combined value of $18,165 for all three prizes that are up for grabs in this second game. Let's put the numbers up there and see how they line up.
7 3 5 2 9 8 1 6 4
Hot column this time is column one and here's the first question of this round. Which artist's 1885 painting was called The Potato Eaters?
