All deadlines are 48 hours; let's go! (cue camera shot of contestants running to their podiums) Audience: Wheel! Of! Fortune! (1989 opening theme) Rich: From Television City in Hollywood, one of America's most popular shows! The famous wheel is spinning your way, with lots of cash and exciting prizes! Over $1,000,000 just waiting to be won tonight! And now, here are the stars of America's game, Mark Liotta and Vanna White! (Vanna and I come out from behind the puzzleboard to tremendous applause) Me: Such a swell audience, as always. (Vanna and I head to our spots; theme fades out) Welcome once again to Wheel Of Fortune, and happy 2016 to everybody. It's a new calendar year, and we'd love to start it by giving away the million. We'll find out if that happens, but let's find out about players first. Returning for his fourth night is our current champion Kevin Kolsen. Welcome back, sir. (audience applauds) Did you do anything exciting during our Christmas break?

Quite well, I'd say, Mark. As far as gifts go, I got: a green screen/lighting kit (staying true to my digital media career path), some new clothes, a Flight of the Navigator DVD and some Bob Dylan outtakes CDs—among other stuff. Afterwards, my parents and I went down to Berea, KY (near Lexington) for "Christmas Country Dance School", a week-long camp at the local college there (for the fifth consecutive year, as of now). And let me tell you: the classes, the performances, the whole nine yards... all that makes for a great alternative to the ball drop in New York, wouldn't you think?

I would think so. Let's get down to some serious business here. (I spin the wheel) $2500 the top value on the wheel for our first round. We're playing for cash, and here's our first puzzle of the night. (category reveal chimes)
