*back to studio* ( main theme )( cheers and applause )TONY: Welcome back to Celebrity Trivia Trap. I'm here with our champs Evan Hatfield, Greg Palmer, and Matt Ringgenberg. So far, they have each won $2,000 for their charities. We'll mention the name of their charities once again at the end of our broadcast. Throughout the entire show, they have playing themselves as a team. Right now, it's every man for himself. A chance at winning $300,000 are on the line... and only one of you must conquer the Trivia Ladder. So let's open up the board right now... ( cheers and applause )Before the break, the lab guys at Tandem Tech, a RANDOM.ORG company, have recorded the number of wins for the red team. Matt have gotten the most correct answers so he'll remain in the number 1 spot. Greg have gotten the few so he's now in the number 2 spot. And since Matt haven't gotten a single answer right, he's now sitting in the number 3 spot. Matt... I'm gonna reveal the four possible answers in level 1. You have a decision of either playing that question... or passing it to Greg. If you pass it to Greg, he'll have the decision of either taking that question or pass it to Matt and he must answer that question. You must answer that question correctly in order to play for the 300 grand. Any other questions before we begin the round?

$10,000 house minimum, Greg. Meanwhile-- OK then... Good luck to all three of you and may the best man wins. Let's start the first level and four possible answers. ( monitors rising, reveal answers... )We have tomatoes, papaya, strawberries, oranges. Evan... do you want to take the question or pass it to Greg?

Matt... you must answer this question on your own if you want to play for the $300,000 pot of gold. Here comes your question...

Oranges

If the correct answer is oranges, you'll win $3,000 (for a total of five grand) and the right to play the final level. So for $3,000... is the correct answer ORANGES? ( trap sounds )(audience groans.. )No... that is wrong. What was the correct answer? It was STRAWBERRIES. I'm sorry that you're eliminated, Matt. Before you leave, what charity were you're playing for?

OK, Matt. Since you won't be playing the final level, you'll be leaving us here with a house minimum of $10,000 for the Boys & Girls Club of America. Give it up for Matt Ringgenberg, everyone... ( cheers and applause )Greg... are you ready to win it all?

OK, Greg... let's move up to the second level and reveal the four possible answers. ( monitors rise... reveal answers )We have the 1890's, 1910's, 1920's, 1930's. Do you want to take the question or pass it to Evan?

This is purely out of strategy. I'm going to pass it to Evan.

Evan... here is your question.
Post by Twentington on Sept 14, 2014 23:18:47 GMT -5
I'm gonna say the 1920s.
Post by tmann3x on Sept 15, 2014 9:41:45 GMT -5
If the 1920's is the correct answer, we'll give you $3,000 more and the right to play the final level worth $300,000. If not, you'll end up in the same fate as Matt has in the previous question. For $3,000, is the correct answer 1920's? ( winning bell sounds, Feud cue, cheers and applause )Right... and you'll be playing for the pot of gold coming up. Greg... it's now or never. You must answer this question to play against Evan for $300,000. Let's move up the ladder to level 3 and reveal four possible answers. ( monitors rising... reveal answers )We have Stonehenge, lighthouse of Alexandria, hanging gardens of Babylon, statue of Zeus at Olympia. Greg... here is your question.

Post by palmer7 on Sept 15, 2014 15:31:22 GMT -5
It just so happens that I've read a Mad book lampooning the seven wonders of the world, and I'm sure they didn't mention Stonehenge. So I am going to pick Stonehenge.
Post by tmann3x on Sept 15, 2014 17:39:38 GMT -5
If Stonehenge is not one of the seven ancient wonders of the world, you'll be playing against Evan for $300,000. Let's all hope for the best. For $3,000 and a chance to play the final level, is the wrong answer Stonehenge? ( winning bell sounds, Feud cue, cheers and applause )You got it! Evan and Greg... both of you have made it to the final level. Only one of you is gonna bring your favorite charity $300,000. Remember... it's every man for himself. Let's move up to the pot of gold level and reveal four possible answers. ( monitors rising... reveal answers )We have Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers, Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers. Evan and Greg... here comes the $300,000 question. You have 24 hours to PM and lock in your answer.

( both players locked their answer )Both players have locked in their answers. Let's see if one of them is gonna take home the big bucks. First, we'll go over to Evan and see what he have locked his answer on. Evan chose the Philadelphia Eagles. If Greg's answer is the same as Evan's, they'll have a chance to win $150,000 each. Let's see what Greg have locked his answer on. No... he have locked his answer on the Chicago Bears. We don't know who wins it all or not, but we'll find out today. We'll begin with Greg and see if he wins the pot of gold jackpot. For $300,000, is the correct answer the CHICAGO BEARS...? ( trap sounds )( audience groans... )No... and the game is over. Greg... before you leave, what charity were you playing for?

Thanks, Greg. The good news is that the $10,000 house minimum will go to the American Red Cross. Evan... this boils down to the one answer that you've selected. Let's hope that your charity is rooting for you. For $300,000... or nothing at all... is the correct answer the PHILADELPHIA EAGLES? ( winning sirens wail, win cue, cheers and applause )YES! Evan Hatfield have just won for his charity $300,000! We will return! *fade to commercial*
