Been back on my old routine of tests and trivia, Greg. Restless nights, cans of Surge, although I have been having a free day or two out around the city.

Well mostly I've just been hanging around the Santa Monica pier, being a thrill ride fanatic.

OK then. Now, John, you have $261 in your bank. A win tonight with $74 or more would score you the boat Charlie mentioned at the top of the show. Not that that really matters to you, because as you stated on our previous program, you are intending to go for the Lot. Nevertheless, NBC Standards and Practices require that I ask you after each win whether you want to go on.
With that being said, are you ready to meet your challengers?

All right. Here to introduce the challengers is Stacey Wren! (audience cheers as Stacey Wren comes out in a blue dress) "The Devil with the Blue Dress On", I take it? Stacey: That's right. College football season is starting up, so I'm making my allegiance known now.Greg: But I thought that wasn't big in Australia. Stacey: That's right, it's not. But I figured with everyone talking about it, I might as well join in. Go Devils! Greg: That's Duke University, WNCN 17 territory. Who have you got for us tonight? (as Stacey introduces the contestants, the doors open and models escort them to their seats)Stacey: Well, first, he's an accountant from Long Island, New York who enjoys writing fanfiction. Please welcome Kevin Kolsen. And he's an aspiring game show host from Sissonville, West Virginia. Say hello to Hunter Williams! (audience cheers) Greg: Nice to have both of you here. Hunter, you're an aspiring game show host. What shows do you like to host?

I like hosting Press Your Luck and Family Feud, but I now just got started hosting this show at my parties. I use the shopping format, although I use the 1983 pre-Speed Round shopping prices, meaning $600 in your bank wins the lot.

And that took an average of about 10 shows at the time, right?

Yes, depending on how well the contestant did. Recently we had an outgoing champ who won the lot in just 5 games. He took a cash Jackpot of $54,000 along with some other stuff, and left with over $166,000 cash and prizes.

Fascinating. (I look to the camera) Please excuse me while I geek out. (audience laughs) Now, each of the players have to come to your parties in order to continue their reign, right? So you know you have at least three people or so coming every time. How many people do you usually get at each party?

At the least, 5 or 6. At the most, around 10 to 12 people.

Well, maybe if you win some prizes, you can show those off. I'll have to come to one of those parties. Good luck to you.
Kevin, I understand that you like to write fanfiction. I'm a fanfic writer myself. What's your specialty?

I've been writing for quite a while actually. I used to write Sonic fan fiction before I switched the Mario and later My Little Pony. I hit my serious stride over the past year and a half.

I'm not a cinema guy to be honest. And not only that, I'm nowhere near an AMC, family included.

You're kidding! All right then...... looks like I'll have to cut down my price to $2 and throw in $200 in cash. You'd still have a $3 lead. What do you say?

It'd be a moot point to have a movie pass to a theater I don't even live near. I try to shop wisely, no sale.
