I apologize but I have to throw this puzzle out. I called on Hunter to pick a letter when it was actually Matt's turn and he did so before I could correct myself. As this is the Speed-Up round, I'll have to bring in a new puzzle and re-spin the wheel. ------ *puzzle reveal chimes* *out of time bells* Our new category is an Event. That sound means time is running out so I'll give the wheel a final spin. *spins the wheel* I'll ask you to give me a letter. If it's up there, you'll have two chances to solve it. Vowels worth nothing, consonants... $350after we add $1,000 to that, $1,350 apiece. Hunter, you will start this puzzle. (If you're curious, the answer to the original puzzle was DANGER MOUSE.)

Yes, that's right! *2002 puzzle solve cue* $1,350 that round from that one letter, John. That brings you up to a grand total of $26,224, making you our big winner! You'll go to Bonus Land in just a moment. Hunter, with what happened in today's game, second place seemed to be the most viable for you. You squeaked ahead with $6,550, nice job. Matt you had a strong start but you tumbled a bit and couldn't get on the board afterward. $6,300 isn't bad for third place, though. John will play the Bonus Round for $100,000 after this!

$26,224 in cash is what you've won already. You've already won two trips but we also have cars and cash just waiting to be won. Vanna and Jim will tell you all about it.
Vanna: We have two great cars! You could win either this Mazda CX-9 or this Ford Flex. Or for your trip across this country, how about this home away from home? The Winnebago Class C Trend!
Jim: Also there's cash from $25,000 all the way to $50,000. Or you could spin and win $100,000!
Me: Whenever you're ready, John, give that ol' wheel a spin.

We won't find out what that us until we put you to work on this puzzle. It's a Living Thing. It's a terrible thing to lose. *laughter* We'll give you RSTLNE to start with... *bong* *bong* Some good help already. Let's have three more consonants and a vowel.

Me: You may have noticed that the longer we proceed through Wheel of Fortune: Seasons, the more the show resembles the show in the present.
Vanna: But we still have another twelve seasons to go.
Me: That's right, though. Just this year, we introduced the Prize Puzzle and that's still a part of the show today.
Vanna: Anything else?
Me: Well, we've got other elements down the road. There's the $1,000-Mystery Wedges and later on the Million-Dollar Wedge and the ½ Car Tags.
Vanna: So, a lot to look forward to.
Me: That's right. For now, though, we'll all catch you next year!
Vanna: Bye-bye!
