I must take your last power chip from you, Doug. *Doug hands over the power chip to host* We're still looking for that 8 for 100 grand. Roll again, if you please. [ROLLS DICE]$100,000!!!![BELL CLANGING, SIREN WAILS, WIN CUE, CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Doug Morris, congratulations on that $100,000 win for The Children's Miracle Network. How do you feel after winning the Big Numbers with your own dice?

*back to stage* [MAIN THEME PROLOGUE, CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Welcome back to Celebrity Gambit live from the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in "Sin City"... Las Vegas, that is. I'm here with the champion of the night Greg Palmer, host of "$ale of the Century" on the other network. So far, his charity... The Boy Scouts of America... has won $132,900. And in just a few minutes, he'll be playing Beat The Dealer for $10 million. [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Before we get into business, are you ready to greet tonight's home viewer, Greg?

Good luck to both of you. During the commercial break, the lab rats at RANDOM.ORG have sent our dealer Jennifer Love Hewitt a deck of 52 king sized playing cards that were cut, shuffled, and sealed. J.Love will now break the seal and deal one card face up and the other face down. [AUDIENCE GROANS]Uh-oh... Jennifer's face up card is a King. We'll see the face down card later on. Right now, let's take a look at the Gambit Board. Behind each of the 21 doors, we have a dazzling array of cash, prizes and surprises. We have an instant win dollar sign, the Take 2 card, Stop or Go, a SWAP card, four money cards ranging from $2,500 all the way up to $25,000, a CAR-- and that dreaded BUST space. Either one of you may freeze at any time if you feel like you're getting closer of going over 21. Jennifer must hit on anything under 17 and stand on at least 17. If Greg gets a combination of at least three cards adding 21, he wins $100,000 for his charity while you, Steve, wins $25,000. If Greg gets a Blackjack-- Either an Ace and either a 10, face card or either an Ace, 10, or face card and the instant win dollar sign, we'll pay him $1 million while yourself scores $100,000. However... if Greg selects the dollar sign on his very first selection, we'll give him $10 million while you, Mr. Anderson, will be delivered by Brinks Security to you... a hefty load of cash... $1 million! [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]For winning the rounds, we'll give you three Gambit Power Chips (one for winning each round). But that's not all. For getting both of the Blackjack Bonus, we'll give you two bonus power chips... for a total of five! [MORE CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Use them wisely... Greg? Whenever the both of you are ready, please select a number.

If there's a dollar sign inside number 7, your charity wins $10 million while Steve wins $1 million. Let's see whats inside door number 7. [DING][AUDIENCE OOHS]We haven't seen that space in a very long time. It's Stop or Go. Here's how it works-- If you keep your card, we'll put $25,000 into the pot. You could either stop or go. If you want to go and double your 25 grand to $50,000, you must match the same exact suit according to the cards. If it's not a match, you'll lose the 25 grand. If you want to stop, we'll leave it as is. Let's take a look at your first card. Jennifer...? Jennifer: It's a 5. [AUDIENCE BOOS]Tony: Not a very good card... but it's both of your decision. Do you guys want to keep the 5 or use your power chip?

J Love has 1 of the face cards in the pack. Means about 1 in 3ish chance another face or 10 comes up now or soon. As to the 5 at hand, we'd have to hope for 6 or less to stay ahead on the prize department to guarantee another pick. Your decision, Greg but my opinion would be to powerchip the 5

[APPLAUSE]Good idea, guys. 4 power chips left and we're still looking for a better card. Jennifer, please reveal the other first card. Jennifer: It's an Ace. [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Tony: Do you guys want that Ace?

Post by tmann3x on Sept 22, 2017 14:23:53 GMT -5
[CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Greg... before you ask Steve some suggestions, let me remind you is that both of you had selected the Stop or Go space. If you want to stop, that $25,000 will remain in the pot. If you decide to go, you must have the same exact suit... which is a spade. If the spade shows up on your next card first, we'll double the cash pot to $50,000. If it's a different suit, you'll lose that 25 grand. The decision is yours... do you want to stop or go?

If there's an instant win dollar sign is inside number 16, your charity wins $1 million while Steve wins $100,000. Let's see what is inside number 16. [DING, APPLAUSE]It's a motorcycle. For more details, please listen to our announcer Jim Thornton. [PRIZE CUE]Jim Thornton: Cruise around town in style with the Harley Davidson 750 Street Motorcycle. Includes polished brake rotors, custom wheel design, and customized café solo seat for extra comfort. From Harley Davidson.[CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Tony: That prize is for Steve to win... and the retail price of that motorcycle will be in cash for The Occoneechee Council of the BSA. Greg and Steve... if that next card is either a 10 or face card, both of you will be winners. Let's find out right now. Jennifer... please reveal their next card. *Jennifer slowly reveals card* Jennifer: It's a 10. Tony: Blackjack! Greg and Steve has beaten the dealer! [BELL CLANGING, SIREN WAILS, WIN CUE, CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Greg, congratulations on winning the million bucks for your charity and congrats to Steve for winning $100,000 and a motorcycle. How do you guys feel after beating our dealer J.Love?

You're welcome, Greg and Steve. Just for the record, let's take a look at Jennifer's face down card. It was a 9... for a total of 19. Let's take a look at some of the most important spaces. The instant win was in number 8, the BUSTED! space was in number 20, the CAR space was in lucky number 13, Take 2 was in 15, and the SWAP space was inside number 1. The remaining money cards were in numbers 5, 11, 12, and 19. Steve... so far, you have won a 9,400-plus Harley... 25 grand in cash... and $100,000 for getting a blackjack. Your total winnings (which will be sent out directly to you first thing in the morning) in cash and prizes-- [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Stay on the line because one of the operator will call you while they ask you for your location and instructions, OK? Thank you for playing Celebrity Gambit and congratulations for winning Beat The Dealer with Greg Palmer. Take care... Greg... So far, you have won $1,034,429 in Beat The Dealer... along with $132,900 for winning all three rounds. On behalf of Merrill Heatter/Bob Quigley Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Television, and The CBS Television Network... we are giving your charity... The Occoneechee Council of The Boy Scouts of America... a huge check for-- [LOUD CHEERS AND APPLAUSE][LAS VEGAS GAMBIT CLOSING THEME]Greg... are you and Doug gonna stay here after we go to a commercial?

(fade in) Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to Celebrity Gambit. You are witnesses to television history in the making, the cyber-wedding of the century. This is the first time on American television that two cybernetic beings are getting married. As the best man, I'd like to introduce the groom. From his first appearance on On a Roll, he has been one of America's favorite computers. He's been responsible for giving away hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash and tons of automobiles. And now, he is marrying the love of his life right here, right now. This... is Wally. Wally, are you nervous? Yeah, just think of the earful you're gonna get after the ceremony. You're such a flirt. Now, I'd also like to introduce the bridesmaids. From the recently cancelled 2 Broke Girls, Beth Behrs and Kat Dennings! (audience cheers) And the maid of honor, from Las Vegas Gambit, Lee Menning! (cheers and applause) And finally, the minister, who has just received clearance to marry these two, the man who started it all 45 years ago, the Honorable Wink Martindale! (cheers and applause as Wink waves) And now, we ask for your silence and respect as our own Doug Morris walks our bride down the aisle and gives her away.
